Punting in Frankfurt

Frankfurt am Main is the most populous city in the German state of Hesse. Its 773,068 inhabitants as of 2022 make it the fifth-most populous city in Germany. Located on its namesake Main, it forms a continuous conurbation with Offenbach am Main; its urban area has a population of over 2.7 million. The city is the heart of the larger Rhine-Main metropolitan region, which has a population of more than 5.8 million and is Germany's second-largest metropolitan region after the Rhine-Ruhr region and the fourth largest metropolitan region by GDP in the European Union (EU). Frankfurt is one of the de facto four main capitals of the European Union (alongside Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg), as it is home to the European Central Bank, one of the institutional seats of the European Union. Frankfurt is the largest financial hub in continental Europe. Its airport is the fourth busiest in Europe.

For punters, it is one of the most popular destinations for a short European break.

Frankfurt has three things to offer. (1) A large RLD (the largest in Europe?), (2) Several top rated FKKs (3) Normal collection of agencies and massage places.

RLD

Frankfurt has a huge Red Light District, with about about a dozen large indoor venues (laufthaus) near the station, each with 40 to 100 rooms. Walk down Taunusstraße and then along Elbestraße. There are a few out of town: a bit to the east at 9 Breite Gasse. For these, just walk right in and up floor after floor to see what is on offer.

FKK

There are several well known FKKs nearby:

• Mainhatten. In Frankfurt, east of the main station. On the small side. Not the best but a sound option.
