Frankfurt am Main is the most populous city in the German state of Hesse. Its 773,068 inhabitants as of 2022 make it the fifth-most populous city in Germany. Frankfurt has a huge Red Light District, with about about a dozen large indoor venues (laufthaus) near the station, each with 40 to 100 rooms. Walk down Taunusstraße and then along Elbestraße. There are a few out of town: a bit to the east at 9 Breite Gasse. For these, just walk right in and up floor after floor to see what is on offer.
