- Upload it to one of the sites e.g. imgur, imageshack, tinypic, postimage,
- Copy the full link.
- Paste the link into the message, then highlight the link. Press the image icon. (If you are in quick-reply press 'preview' and the image icon will appear)
- Add width =400 (or another low number) after the first letter 'img', so it says [img width=400]. Press preview again and make sure it looks good.
- Post.
