This is a general overview of the punting scene in Germany, the sex industry there is large, varied reasonably priced. Prostitution in Germany is legal, and so are brothels. In 2002, the government changed the law in an effort to improve the legal situation of prostitutes, this made it legal to operate a brothel, and the government taxes both the clubs and the ladies who for example pay a daily tax to the local City.
As well as local German men who patronise the sex scene in Germany, the country is popular with foreigners, because it's on the whole well run, safe, legal and reasonably cheap.
